i almost forgot that i got access to this blog......~~~
the cheer competition is coming up soon.
we need to submit the cheers soon. (this is urgent)
PLEASE, if anyone has a good cheer/ideas, tell them to amanda/joash.
and we need to have ideas on what we are going to wear, say move, etc etc... stuff like that..
the theme is " Beats of harmony"
detailsask amanda/joash (i forgot..)
for an idea of how to make a cheer on that theme...-- look for fatima, she has already created 1 really good cheer.
and..
PLEASE , participate in the cheer competition.
we need as many participants as possible.
why?

- it will help to improve the class spirit.
- hope that this will help to bring the class together after all the previous commotions.
- if not enough people participates, we will be ban.
- more people= more voices= louder cheer= better cheering= higher points= higher chances of winning.
- all the same things about teamwork, trust, co-operation.. etc....

Shafa, the motion of no-confidence is a second chance for them.

Its either, they prove that they're rly that good as what you think, or they can't and the class had voted to have a re-election for a new one.

So, its their second chance.

Jonathan, you're nominating Halim to be chairman/vice-chairman?
Although i think Halim has good leadership skills, we should vote for him next year.
Not this year.

I think all of us should give Joash and Amanda a second chance.
I'm sure they will try their very best to improve themselves.

But they still try their best to be good leaders to the class.

Dear 101,

I did not have thoughts/intent to be the Chairman/Vice-Chairman of 101. Please do not listen to any rumours about me, making this motion of no-confidence, just because i wanted to be the Chairman.

I do not want to change Joash. I am nominating Halim as the girls wanted to re-vote Joash as we're kicking Amanda out. They wanted a full committee change. I had only wanted to change Amanda.

To Natalie, Joey, Ming Ee : I do not want to be the Chairman, I'm currently nominating Halim.

Please understand my will. Vote Halim as the new Chairman of 101 after the no-confidence motion passes.

Seriously, I have no comments to this situation.
But to add on to what Shafa has said,
Amanda and Joash are trying their very best to become great 101 leaders.
I can see that very clearly, but keep this in mind

IF you guys (Jonathan, Sravana, Hengyu and others) are doing this vote of no confidence thingy for your ownselves good and not for the good of the whole class, then I suggest you guys think twice. And i said IF, mind you.

If not, you guys would be considered selfish i think...
And I know how you would react to what I'm saying.
I predict, you guys would say that Amanda is the selfish one and not you guys.
Think again, remember the cheering competition?
She made us sacrifice our weekends to practice.
Some of you might hate her for doing this, but again, I say, think.

She too sacrificed her weekend.
If it wasn't for the cheering competition, she would not want to ruin our weekend too.
She allowed a whole group of us to go into her house just for the sake of a class banner.
You call that selfish?

But nevertheless, everyone has their pro's and con's
I too think that sometimes Amanda favouritises the girls
Well, I totally agree with Shafa, that everyone makes mistakes
And I also feel that Amanda is a type of straight-forward person
But people can change.

Jonathan, I see that you are hurt from what Amanda does or say.
And yes, we have the freedom of speech, the right to speak our minds.
But please, give Amanda a chance to show the true leader she really is.

I heard that now you guys too call Joash a corrupt?
Please lah... Stop this nonsense can?
Joash is a great chairman.
He too has his pro's and con's

He is small, but he's able to voice out and lead the class.
But sometimes, he might be irresponsible.
SOMETIMES only.
But still, he is a great leader.

So, people, lets think for the whole class instead of ourselves ok?

To Hengyu, seriously, please freaking shut up during geography lesson.
I mean it, you're disrupting the class.

Classmates, can we solve this matter without quarrelling.
I'm not on anyone's side,seriously.

In my point of view,i think both boys and girls are at fault.
So lets not push all the blame to just one person.

Boys, i think you're just not please with the way Amanda speaks.
You guys think she think 101 boys are pathetic losers.
But thats how she speaks/behaves.
She did call me evil once or twice.
But i know thats the way she speaks.
*Not saying i'm not evil here.

Girls, i think we are too good and we show favourtism.
Whenever chairman or vice-chairman gave instructions,we will do it.
We seldom complain as we think it benefits the class.
However,the boys will often complain and the girls will go angry.
Even me, i should say.
And we girls tend to follow everything Amanda does.
And ignore the boys feeling.

I doubt Jonathan is doing this to snatch Amanda's/Joash's position.
I'm sure he is way reasonable.
Probably Amanda's way of speaking had hurt his sensitive feelings.

The worse part of the story is, Hengyu is involved!
That makes matter worst.

Joash and Amanda are good leaders.
They can lead the class well.
Yes,they do make mistakes but every human on earth makes mistakes.
So why dont all of us give them a chance to improve their leadership skills?
I believe Joash and Amanda will be able to lead our class well.

Lastly, I hope those mainly involve to settle this without quarelling.
The more you guys quarrel it will become more complicated.

With accusations of me having selfish thoughts, this post is to clarify all questions.

Q : What is a 'Motion of no confidence'?
A : It is motion put before a body or organisation when a group of people had lost trust and confidence and do not believe the person currently "having power" is able to continue his/her duties as efficient as before.

Q : What does it do?
A : If a certain number of people voted for the motion, it means that the body/organisation had really lost trust in the person/people involved. In this way, there will be a re-election for the posts/seats the person/people are currently holding. Only 1/4 majority is needed.

Q : What if it failed?
A : If it failed, the people who supports the motion could pre-announce a re-contest in 5 days. If not, the Motion of No Confidence would be deemed void.

I would like to hereby apologise for fallacious and emotional statements that are directed to the person by the pseudonym "Disgusted.". The person in focus attempted to halt my attempts to express and carry out my political beliefs in the leadership of this class, which I had put in a lot of effort to pen down in the previous blog post. Such attacks to my hard work in expression of my stand and justification enraged me, leading me to write such unprofessional and emotionally-based statements.

My irrational musings and words of irritance may have, unfortunately, offended certain people. During my period of extreme annoyance, harsh words and improper, inappropriate language escaped from my mouth. Such words may have led some of you to lose confidence in me and caused you to believe my political statements to be fallacious. I admit that I am in the wrong and I will to the best of my ability not perform such crude acts ever again.

However, despite the fact that "Disgusted" has attempted to throw my beliefs out of the window, I still continue to stand firm in my beliefs. I may have been wrong about my comments (such as calling Disgusted a jackass), but I believe that my political beliefs reflect what many of the people in the class feel about our political leaders of the class. I thus ask for your support in the upcoming Motion of No Confidence vote to bring 101 a better tomorrow.

I, JONATHAN SOH, hereby declare a motion (or Vote) of no confidence on our current Vice-Chairman, Amanda Wong, on the Ninth of July, in the year Two thousand and Eight, under the following reasons.

FROM the starting of the period she was chosen as Vice-Chairman, she treated the boys INHUMANELY. She DID NOT listen to the views of the boys, and would just DENY their opinions, whether they are true, or not. IN REGARD of this, the denial of people's opinions are telling us that she THINKS that she was the ONLY one, who is CORRECT. FROM this, I INFER that she is basically ARROGANT and as she does not listen to people's advice, STUBBORN.

WITH CONTINUOUS COMPLAINS from the students of class 101, she tried to TOTALLY oust the FREEDOM OF SPEECH away from us. WE HAD NO ways of communicating our VIEWS AND POINTS to the Committee and Teachers. In order words, WE CANNOT SPEAK UP.

WHATEVER decisions she called "the class had decided" are always from her and her female friends. WHEN the class are deciding matters, she would MAKE UP a decision and said that "the class had chosen this, and that". THIS IS NOT WHAT THE CLASS WANTED, and she is apparently, a person who wanted total CONTROL.

FURTHER REASONS WOULD BE GIVEN IN DUE TIME.

I HEREBY ONCE AGAIN, DECLARE A MOTION OF NO CONFIDENCE ON THE VICE-CHAIRMAN OF CLASS 101, AMANDA WONG. THE DAY OF DECISION SHOULD BE IN THE NEAREST FROM CLASS. IF NOT, WE WOULD HOLD A 2/3 MAJORITY VOTE ON THE CLASS STAYING BACK FOR THE RE-ELECTION OF THE VICE-CHAIRMAN SEAT.

NOTE : WE DO NOT NEED A 1/2 CLASS MAJORITY FOR A MOTION OF NO CONFIDENCE VOTE. WE NEED ONLY A 1/4 OF THE CLASS TO GO THROUGH THE PROCEDURES.
